Terms of Use

Last updated 2 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Vidalo, operated by Deniz Ozgur. By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Vidalo.

What Vidalo does

You choose a template and a photo; Vidalo generates a short video from them using AI models. Generation is not deterministic: the same photo and template can produce different results, and a result may not match what you imagined. That is a property of the technology, not a defect.

Subscriptions and credits

Vidalo requires a paid subscription. Each video costs credits, and your plan includes a credit allowance that renews with your billing period. Extra credit packs can be bought separately.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. If a generation fails for a technical reason on our side, the credits it consumed are returned to your balance automatically.

Your content, and who owns what

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us only the narrow licence we need to run the service: to store your photo, send it to the provider that generates your video, and deliver the result back to you. Nothing more.

Subject to these terms, the videos you generate are yours, including for commercial use. Note that AI-generated output may not be protectable by copyright in some countries, and that we cannot guarantee your output is unique — another user's result may resemble yours.

Rules you agree to

You may only upload a photo if you are in it, or you have the permission of the people who are. Do not use Vidalo to:

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Serious cases may be reported to the relevant authorities.

AI-generated content

Everything Vidalo produces is synthetic. Videos you export carry a visible “AI-generated” label and machine-readable provenance metadata, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires. You agree not to remove either, and not to present a Vidalo video as real footage of a real event.

Availability

We aim to keep Vidalo running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Templates and models change as providers update them, and a template may be withdrawn. We may change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and seek a refund through Apple or Google.

Liability

Vidalo is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including, if you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory rights, which these terms do not affect.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Vidalo at any time and delete your account in Account → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your Library permanently and does not by itself cancel your subscription — cancel that in your Apple or Google account settings.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; we will change the date above and notify you in the app of anything material. These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
